Today, I’m delighted to share that AdRoll has been named the fastest growing private advertising company in the nation by Inc. Magazine on this year’s Inc. 500 list. Our 11,082 percent three-year-growth rate also placed us #7 overall on the list, the only Bay Area company to place in the top ten. I must admit it feels a bit surreal, but it’s exciting to see all of our hard work recognized.

This achievement could not have happened without the support of our customers, many of whom, I’m very proud to say, were among the top 500 list as well. Our customers’ unwavering dedication to finding new and innovative ways to succeed, even in times of economic adversity, inspires us to continue innovating our platform each day. And, it’s heartening to know that our technology may have played a part in their impressive growth. I’d also like to call out our team of hardworking ‘Rollers who make all the magic happen behind the scenes.

This recognition is the icing on what’s already been a great year at ShangRolla. To kick off 2012, we announced that AdRoll increased revenue over 400 percent the previous year to achieve profitability — a significant milestone for any startup. Just one month ago, we announced that we had secured $15M in new funding, led by our new partner, Foundation Capital. The new resources will enable us to further grow our key teams on an international scale, and focus on expanding product development efforts in mobile, video and social. As long as we keep working closely with our customers and build the right products to help their businesses, I’m convinced we can achieve our goal of truly democratizing the retargeting space.
