Earlier this week a security flaw in OpenSSL, a popular encryption package, was discovered. Known as the Heartbleed bug, it affected most popular online services—including ours. We completed a thorough review of our systems, patched all user-facing services, and have no evidence of any unauthorized access.

As a precautionary measure, we recommend that all of our customers change their AdRoll account password. We also support and recommend using 2-step verification to protect your account. Once enabled, a verification code will be sent via text message to your phone when you log in to AdRoll to ensure you are truly you.
