Over the past 12 months, we’ve seen unprecedented growth in the Asia-Pacific region, including 300% growth in Australia and 275% overall growth across APAC. The crazy part is that we’ve grown to 500+ Australian advertisers and agencies including Appliances Online, Clinique AU, Vend and Nitro without any boots on the ground. Until now, that is.

Today we’re proud to announce our second international office in Sydney, Australia. We’re deeply committed to the market and excited to serve our current and future customers with in-time zone support, thought leadership on performance marketing and unique solutions for the ANZ market.

We’re also thrilled that digital pioneer Ben Sharp will be leading our Australian expansion. Ben brings more than 15 years in digital media—including six years at Yahoo! Australia in the early 2000s, five years as co-founder and Commercial Director of Allure Media, and a stint as the General Manager at Vizury. We’re confident in Ben’s deep knowledge of the Australian media landscape, and, even better, he’s an AdRoller through and through. From the moment I heard about his love of adventure sports and that he’d cycled 1,500 km in 10 days for Tour de Cure, I knew he’d be the perfect person to lead our Australian expansion.

We’re looking forward to being one of the best places to work in Sydney, just as we have been in the Bay Area. We’ll start by hiring 20 new employees before the end of the year, from direct sales to inside sales to account management to marketing and back office. The Sydney office is going to be a true extension of the AdRoll culture. Sydney may have traded in Bagel Wednesday for Meat Pie Wednesday, but they’ve kept the tradition of sports clubs, friendly tourneys like ping pong and trivia nights, and some days there seem to be more dogs around the office than people. We’re also going to be a positive and active contributor in the Sydney community.

Sydney is our fourth global office and second outside the United States, including our Ireland office, which launched in October. And, with over 10,000 customers worldwide who need our attention, it won’t be our last. We’re just getting started!
